The most astonishing thing about springtime is its variability. In the space of a few hours we can go from bare branches and spring bulbs beginning to open to a white-washed landscape full of mystery and hush. This March, in particular, has seen an amazing number of weather changes–snowstorms, rain, sunshine, fog.
The thing to remember about those changes is that nothing ever stays the same–good and bad, of course, because you may like what you have! When it’s pouring, however, or your favorite Daphne bush is bowed under the weight of heavy snow, remind yourself that the next weather shift is just around the corner…and it’s bringing beauty with it.
